Terms of Use
Effective 2026-10-22 · Version 2026-10-22
These terms are an agreement between you and [to be completed] (“we”, “us”), [to be completed], the operator of MedIQ. By creating an account or buying access, you accept them.
1. What MedIQ is
MedIQ is an online question bank for medical exam preparation: practice blocks, explanations, performance statistics, notes and flashcards.
2. Not medical advice
MedIQ is for education and exam preparation only. Its content isn't medical advice and must not be used to diagnose or treat anyone. We work to keep questions and explanations accurate, but medicine changes and errors happen. Use the “Report a problem” button on any question to tell us.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
- Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself.
- One account is for one person. Sharing an account or reselling access isn't allowed.
- You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at [to be completed] if you think someone else has used it.
4. Access you buy
- A plan gives one person access to the named course for the stated period, starting when payment is confirmed.
- Prices are shown before you pay, in the currency shown.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Access ends automatically at the end of the period. Plans don't renew, and nothing is charged again without a new purchase.
- When your access ends or is refunded, you can no longer open the course's questions, answers or explanations, including those of tests you took, or use your test history, analytics, notes, flashcards and bookmarks. Nothing is deleted: it all comes back if you buy a new pass. You can still download a copy of your data or delete your account in Settings.
- Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, download in bulk, record, publish or share questions, explanations, images or statistics, or use them to build another product, dataset or AI model;
- try to get around access limits, answer-reveal rules, timers or security, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- interfere with the service or other users;
- use automated tools to access the service.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and if the breach is serious we don't owe a refund.
6. Content ownership
- The questions, explanations, images and software belong to us or our licensors, and these terms don't transfer any of them to you.
- Your notes, flashcards and bookmarks stay yours. You let us store and process them only to provide the service.
- If you send us feedback or issue reports, we may use them to improve MedIQ.
7. Availability
- We aim to keep MedIQ available, but we don't promise uninterrupted service.
- MedIQ keeps unsent answers on your device and sends them when you're back online. Still, keep your browser up to date and don't clear its data while work is unsent.
- We may change features, add or retire questions, or update content versions. Changes don't remove access you paid for during its period.
8. Liability
- To the extent the law allows, MedIQ is provided “as is”.
- We aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for exam results.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
9. Closing your account
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Data & privacy.
- Deletion is permanent, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Remaining access isn't refunded automatically; see the Refund Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version and date are shown at the top. If a change is significant we'll tell you by email or in the app before it applies. Continuing to use MedIQ after that means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [to be completed], without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
